Twenty One Pilots, sometimes stylized as twenty one pilots or twenty øne piløts was formed
in 2009 in Columbus, Ohio. The band consisted of lead vocalist Tyler Joseph, bassist Nick
Thomas and drummer Chris Salih. Thomas and Salih left due to personal reasons, and Josh Dun
later joined as the drummer. Currently a duo, the band explores unique and unconventional ways
to create their music and do not necessarily fall into one genre. They are best described
as alternative.

- From the 2015 album, Blurryface, "Stressed Out" brought the band into the mainstream. This alternative rock song describes the struggles of leaving childhood and becoming an adult.

- "My Blood" comes from the album, Trench, released in 2018. It has a moody disco feel and features a heavy bass line. The lyrics tell a story of sticking by someone's side and letting them know they are not alone.

- Straight off of the band's most recent album, Clancy "Vignette" is a thrilling, heavy song, with musical references to themes from Trench. The wide vocal range brings deep emotion, making the piece very unique.
